Fire Service-Visit to the Panmure fire station

VISITING THE LOCAL PANMURE FIRE STATION

After Morning tea LS1 walked up to the fire station,LS1 went to look and learn about fire services and how they work to train and help people. They talked to us about how there fire trucks work and the systems that belong on fire trucks.Mr Norman talked to us about how they rescue lives that are ever in-Crashing sights-Fires or when someone is stuck up in a tree or on a house.

4 students from LS1 named,Andrew,Jonathan,Fui and Sandra. They each got a turn of holding the hose and squirting the water out.
We also asked questions about how old the truck was and how many years the fire fighters been working at the fire station.

Mrs Anderson had nearly got wet from the water that was spread out.
Mr Ogilvie had a try of using the flat hose. When the water had come out it was very loud.
We had fun seeing and talking to the fire service.

Thank you Mr Ogilvie and Mrs Anderson for taking us.
