  2. Hi Joel!,
What a great start towards week 1 of the Summer Learning Journey activities. I like how you carefully listed 10 foods you would take on your voyage. I would also take a mix of nuts to give you that fibre and protein. I also like how you explained clearly about what you did for this SLJ activity.
    Fantastic Work!

  4. Kia ora Joel,

My name is Mani and I am going to be joining you on the Summer Learning Journey as a blog commenter. I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?

This year I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs, especially because I have been to your school and met you and your classmates! I am really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I also love to exercise and write songs in my spare time. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?

Firstly, I love your first slide with the title and images and especially was impressed with how you added your attributions. We give out full marks when you attribute your photos, so well done! I found your list of food items very interesting and thought that you had put a lot of thought into it.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts and hope you enjoy your last week of school, keep up the mahi Joel! :)

    Nga mihi,
    Mani

  5. Hello Joel,
This is a really good blog post to lead you in the first week of the summer learning journey activities. I read your post about taking food with you for you and your voyage. This was an interesting post, but I think you should made more slides and explain why you would take it and show pictures of what it is, but this is a really good post.
But keep up the great work Joel!.
