I-Hello today we will be explaining about the first man on the moon. Neil Armstrong was born in Ohio and is the oldest of the 3 brothers in his family. Neil wanted to become a pilot from the moment he saw a airplane. He built his own model planes and did experiments on them. Neil took his first flying license when he was 14.
P- Neil loved learning about planes but he also enjoyed learning about space. He would always wonder what was upon the Stars when he was in college of War started he was called to be a fighter Pilot. He completed 78 missions during the war. After the war and after finishing College he became he became a test pilot whose job was to test new planes to make sure that they they are safe to fly and help them make it better.
He had the courage To test over 20 new planes. He set a world record for flying one of the fastest planes in the world. Neil loved planes and space so he decided to become an astronaut who flies to space. While Neil was a Astronaut America was planning their first flight to space. Neil was picked to fly the spaceship to the moon. Neil Armstrong was the first American Astronaut to step on moon.
S-Neil Armstrong was the first American Astronaut to land on moon. Neil was born and raised in Ohio- United states and is the oldest brother in his family. He was very interested in planes and space. He got his flying license when he was 14. He was fighter pilot, test pilot, astronaut and the first person to land/step on moon.
In Writing this week Nidhi and I have created a collaborative information report based on the first man stepping on the moon. We recorded all the information by using a resource video to help us brainstorm all of our ideas. The information report is based on American Astronaut Neil Armstrong who took the chance at becoming a Astronaut.
A fact that we learnt was that Neil Armstrong got his first flying license when he was 14. At first to get all the ideas down we recorded all the important facts down on notes. The structure that we used was TIPS which stands for Title, Introduction, Paragraphs and Summary.
