Forest life- Weekly challenges

Image result for tane mahuta

It would be fascinating to visit Tane Mahuta because I would get to learn more about this tall tree that stands in the Waipoua forest. It would be interesting to visit this place where many tree's surround me with nature and its environment. In fact you can find kauri tree's in Auckland, Coromandel and up in the north island. It is considered that these tree's grow here because of the nature that surrounds  with many different plants and birds.

  1. Kia ora Joel,

Thank you for completing another SLJ activity! We are so glad to see you completing lots of the activities.

I like that you want to visit Tane Mahuta to learn more about the tree and its surrounding environment. In New Zealand, we have such wonderful natural beauty all around us so it is important to experience it as much as possible. I would also like to visit it to see how tall it is in person. Can you imagine what it would be like looking up at the 51m tall tree?

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Talk soon,

    Sophie
